ashleyfanficKristi Yamaguchi won! YAY! She should have won! She was the best. Although, I would have been happy had Jason won because then Edyta would have won. But yay! The woman curse is broken!!!
Also, no luck on the job front. :( I'm really starting to stress out because it's been over a month and nothing, not so much as a nibble on my resume. *sigh*
However, I do have a babysitting gig lined up for a few days. I get to baby sit two boys tomorrow, ages 7 and 10. I've never sat for them before, but boys are no problem. Give them outside activities and all is well. Only problem with that is it's in the upper 80's low 90's and I don't operate under heat. :(
I have this friend who is with a guy and they have baby. Well, the guy helps out not at all. When she's at work, he sits the baby in his bouncy seat while he plays playstation. He doesn't talk to him or anything, just basically ignores him. Well, she gets really pissed off that he puts all the responsibility of handling the baby off on her, but she won't say anything to him about it because she doesn't want to hear it. So, tonight, she was watching dancing with the stars and it's 15 minutes before it goes off and they announce the winner and he is on the phone BITCHING her out because she wants to wait to go pick him up so she can see who the winner is. And so, my Dad told her that she wasn't going anywhere and then I said she just doesn't handle him correctly because she doesn't stand up for herself. She hung up on him and then he got mad but she said "Fine, I'll come get you!" and then he called back and he told her that if she hung up on him again she would lose phone privilages. Had that been me, I would have told him that if he talked to me like that again, he'd be shitting the phone out in a few days because I'd make him eat the fucking things.
It drives me crazy to see women be passive and allow men to walk over them. My mom is the opposite and I guess that's why I don't understand how some people can be so weak. And this isn't the only instance of him bitching to get his way. He likes to play playstation, so he comes over here and sits here all day and night and plays. She likes to have the baby in bed by ten if she can swing it. He doesn't care, and since they have one car, she has to do what he wants since he has the keys. One night, she told him she wanted to be home at 9:30 to put the baby down and give him a bath. He told her ten more minutes for 4 hours and she sat in my room and grumbled. I finally went upstairs and 12:59 and told him that he needed to take them home because they needed to go to bed. He got mad at her. He's such a dillweed. I really don't care for him and I'm sick of her whining. If she doesn't like what he does she needs to put her foot down, but she won't. *sigh* I'm just tired of being around them because they get on my nerves. He acts like he's 12 years old and she just takes his shit.
Sorry about all of that. I'm just really irritated about it.
