Hmmm, that's hard to say...
Do you go with the traditional vampire and say Dracula?
What about the cheesiest vampire in history, Barnabus, from Dark Shadows?
Or, then, there's the one that Edward was based off of, and go with Angel/Angelus, the ultimate broody vampire?
But there's the equally yummy, bad, and soul filled Spike!
Based off my criteria for vampire lore, I would have to go with Angelus! Not Angel, Angelus.
Reason being, he is what a vampire is supposed to be. He's ruthless, blood thirsty, can't go outside during the day, crucifixes are a no-no, and does everything for his own gain. Angelus is my ideal vampire!
