Well, it's Friday, good people. How are we all doing?

I'll probably get a lot written today on my vamp fic, and I say that because I'm going to be here most of the day. Then we have a happy hour for everyone I work with. I'm debating on whether or not to go. I think it's good for my job to go and mingle with the people I work with, but on the other hand, it's money I don't need to spend. *sigh* I'll probably end up going. Not going could reflect negatively in the job department.

My family went out to dinner last night. We had Mexican. The place we went to has awesome food. I had a fajita taco salad. It was delicious.

Landon has thrush in his mouth. He's not screaming and crying about it because they caught it before it spread all the way in, so he's getting his meds everyday and going to become healthy baby.

So, I went to happy hour for our work tonight. One of the guys there had been drinking since 3:00 this afternoon and he was plowed by the time I got there. And the sentence he said before I left had me rolling in the floor.

"If that cocksucker comes over here I'm going to kick his ass!"

Complete review of Sims 3.

Pros
1. Creating a sim is incredible. I mean, you can really shape the face and do the cool stuff with it.
2. The terrain tools when building a house are great. Really top notch.
3. The music isn't as annoying.
4. Being able to color anything any color I want is great! You can really customize a house that way!

Cons
1. Hairstyles - for everyone. I understand that they're probably holding a lot back for expansion packs in the future, but come on. There's like 7 for women and only 5 for men! That SUCKS!
2. It's very hard to navigate the town. Sims 2, you can click the options and return to the neighborhood. I've yet to learn how to do this with Sims 3. It's all very complicated, not to mention that you can't go into the shops with the sim, which would be nice, but instead you're stuck outside watching the sidewalk.
3. Having a baby sucks! You have to take her to the hospital now and that blows!
4. I really miss my boolProp testingcheats cheat. I liked to be able to control their moods with the click of a button.
5. Fast fowarding through time blows. You have to basically sit there through the entire sleep cycle because there is no true fast forward.
6. Complaint about creating sims - no matter what face shape you give them, they have a double chin. Really pisses me off.
7. Lack of clothing choices. Yes, you can use the clothing styles they have and change them due to color, but come on! I want more variety than that. My sims always end up wearing the same thing because everything else is stupid.
8. When creating girl sims, they are flat as a 12 year old boy. They have no curves, even if you make them big. Why? How about a little definition in body tones and such.

So, my general thoughts are, if you have sims 2 and have yet to buy sims 3, stick with sims 2 until some of the sites can start making custom stuff for downloading. Because until that happens, it's really not worth playing. Sims 2 is so much better in terms of creating sims, and houses if you know the right websites to download stuff. I had 3GB of crap downloaded for my sims game. It took forever to log into it, but once I did it was great!
