Writer's Block: Lenny Bruce

I don't really consider any ground left to break. If you ever watch people live Dave Attell then you realize that nothing is taboo. It's all out there and the more outrageous the harder people laugh.
Now, my favorite comedians are Dane Cook, Bill Engvall, and Henry Cho. I'll tell you what, though, only one of those has ever made me shoot coke out of my nose and that was Engvall. I like him and Cho because I think they're funny without being vulgar. It's a hard thing to accomplish now, to make people laugh without cussing every other word. But they just talk about life and things and are able to be clean about it. On the other end of the spectrum is Dane Cook who talks about real life but he brings a new modern twist to it. I love his story about argument and women being mental terrorists.
But, I will say, I don't think you have to be gross to be funny. Engvall, Foxworthy and Cho have all made a career out of it. It is possible. *shrugs*
