I just read the dumbest thing I've ever read.

"The potential impact of Tata's Nano has given environmentalists nightmares, with visions of the tiny cars clogging India's already-choked roads and collectively spewing millions of tons of carbon dioxide into the air."

Now, I may be missing something, but don't we breath out Carbon Dioxide, and isn't CO2 what Plants use for photosynthesis, and isn't photosynthesis good because it emits oxygen. And isn't oxygen what we breath. So, please, enlighten me when CO2 became a bad thing.

1. What is your favourite fruit? Apples. But I like them when they're nice and crispy. Red apples only.
2. What is the last book you read? "Just A Guy" by Bill Engvall (don't my fun! I laughed the whole way through)
3. Do you like any of your school photos? Yes, my senior portrait. A four year old informed me the other day that the picture was taken before I gained all the weight *facepalm*
4. Do you ever blowdry your armpits to get the deodorant to dry quicker? No, and that's just weird.

Comment to this post, giving me the name of a fandom that you know I'm involved in and I will tell you the following: I'm doing this differently. I'm really only involved in one fandom (Harry Potter) so I will answer questions based on that:

1. The first character I fell in love with:
Harry Potter (duh) I think to not like Harry doesn't make any sense. He's the one the book is about. It's all from his perspective. To like characters on the peripheral is fine, but my first love in Harry Potter is Harry Potter.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:
Neville. I have a lot of respect for Neville. He really came into his own in Order of the Phoenix and he didn't waver after that.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't:
Ron. Despise him.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates:
Not sure everyone hates him, but Draco Malfoy. I know all my friends that I know in RL hate him and call me stupid for liking him. But they like Ron, so what do they know?
5. The character I would shag anytime:
See above. ;)
6. The character I'd want to be like:
Probably Luna. She's seems so sure of herself and she knows who she is. She doesn't allow people's opinions of her to really effect how she sees herself.
7. The character I'd slap:
That's a hard one. Probably Dumbledore. He should have told Harry more than he did. I understand the need and want to protect Harry, but leaving him to guess for himself left a lot of things up to chance.
8. A pairing that I love:
Draco/Hermione. Makes me all a flutter.
9. A pairing that I despise:
Hermione/Ron. Come on guys. He is not intellectually or emotionally on par with Hermione. It wouldn't work. Despite what miss Rowling says. Realistically speaking, she would probably have ended up with Harry and Ron with someone else that would see him for him, not the sidekick/bestfriend of Harry or the youngest Weasley Brother. Either way you look at it, Ron will always be in someone's shadow -- I think he would look for someone who could see past that. Hermione, in my mind, and the way I think canon portrays her, would put Harry first.
10. Favorite character:
It's a three way tie. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Draco Malfoy. All for very different reasons. I love Harry because he truly is the selfless hero. Despite everything he was still willing to sacrafice himself so that the people he loved could have a chance. Hermione because her brains and loyalty. Those she loves she would do anything to protect. Draco I love because he was always a coward. However, there is an amendment to that statement. I think it took a great deal of courage to not kill Dumbledore. He knew what would happen to his parents. He knew he had Death Eater witnesses. Even if Snape hadn't appeared, there's no way to tell what would have happen, but at first glance, Draco chose not to kill him. And as Rowling was so fond of saying 'It's our choices that define us.'
11. What are your five favorite things about your fandom?
1. Some of the most superb writers exist here.
2. Full of great people. (creative too)
3. Never a dull moment. (if rowling releases something it's fodder for MONTHS)
4. Loyalty. Even if we don't like where she went in canon, we're still loyal to the parts we love.
5. The ability to do what we wish with her characters without fear of problems. She really lets us have free reign in fiction with them. You have to admire that.
12. What are your five least favorite things about your fandom?
1. The bickering.
2. Bitching about stupid shit. (what does it matter if Draco married Astoria Greengrass -- doesn't have to change fanon!)

Harry, Hermione, Draco, Luna, Neville

Ron, Pansy, Voldie, Greyback, Crabbe

No idea. I'm probably a mix of Draco (I'm whiney) and Hermione (I'm bossy)
